Ian  is an Educator for Austin Health Intensive Care Unit and has affiliations with Deakin and RMIT Universities as Adjunct Professor.  Ian has undertaken many research and quality activities in Intensive Care, and has presented at numerous scientific meetings in  Australia, the  United States, Europe and Asia over the last 25 years.

Ian has  completed both a Masters and PhD by research and has over 100  publications devoted to the application of renal replacement therapies, incident monitoring,  quality and education activities in ICU.  Ian is a winner of many presentation and education awards locally and Internationally.
